INTRODUCING THE DYNAMIC LIQUIDITY MARKET MAKER ON SOLANA Huy Nguyen Quang, our engineer, recently shared insights on the Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker (DLMM), a new form of concentrated liquidity AMM designed to help users and project teams provide liquidity more effectively and profitably. - DLMM is a type of market maker that actively adjusts its quotes and inventory levels in response to changing market conditions. - For liquidity providers (LPs), dynamic swap fees adjust in real-time with price changes, enabling higher fee capture during volatile market conditions to better offset impermanent loss. LPs can also focus their liquidity in zero-slippage bins, unlocking new AMM LP strategies. - DLMM stands out from traditional AMMs by reducing slippage, using capital more efficiently, and offering deeper liquidity, even for low-volume pairs. LPs can create precise strategies to capture more volume and fees. - DLMM operates through discrete liquidity bins, allowing liquidity providers to specify buy or sell orders at predetermined prices. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has launched an initiative to help banks adopt distributed ledger technology. On January 8, the central bank of Hong Kong announced the launch of its "Supervisory Incubator for Distributed Ledger Technology," aimed at assisting banks in safely implementing this technology. Arthur Yuen, deputy chief executive of the HKMA, stated that this incubator is essential for fostering the development of DLT-based banking solutions. The program includes individual support for banks and promotes sector-wide development through the sharing of best practices. During the FiNETech4 event, HKMA Executive Director Carmen Chu emphasized that the tokenization of real-world data would allow banks to create innovative financial products.
